Dean Dallman, Service Manager with
the company for 30 years, loves
what the new facility allows him to do for his customers.
He
has added three technicians with the move to the new
facility. "And we have a person who mans the service
drive-in area where he greets the customer and helps
direct them where to go," said Dallman who particularly
likes the drive-through with its "valet" service.
In every area
of the new facility, care has been taken to assure that
customers can be out of the Wisconsin weather all of
the time.
Drivethrough
glass bay areas are located not only in the new-car delivery
area, but in the service area and the body shop area
as well.
"If there's
only one thing that's better, it's our service drivethrough," said
Dallman. "Our customers don't have to
look
for a place to park anymore. and the lighting is outstanding
- the
facility is so well lit." -
Once inside,
the customer can wait in the customer lounge, get a shuttle
ride home, or, for longterm repairs, get a free loaner.
Inside the service
bay area, eleven technicians work at twelve service bays
with hoists, one with a heavy-duty hoist to lift ambulances
and loaded service vehicles. Three more bays are used
for detailing.
"Nothing
that we did here is outdated, which is almost scary when
you think about it," said Dallman, referring to
how quickly technology outdates itself.
